As part of Divan's educational activities, the Weekend School program offers Turkish, History/Geography, and Ethics classes for Turkish and American students. It was initiated and currently supported by our volunteers. Upon request, we also tutor other classes such as Math, Science, and English. Weekend School currently has two grades; one for students from grades K to 1 and the other one for students from grades 2 to 7. Integrated with these classes, we also have some social activities during breaks and after lunch including various contests, computer games, video presentations...
- Weekend school is open to anyone who is interested.
- Classes are arranged based on the number of students at each level.
- A four-hour session per week including the lunch break.
- Sundays between 10:30 am - 2:00 pm.
